1. be supposed to：（按某种要求）应该要
   You were supposed to get all the papers ready two hours ago.
   你两个小时前就该把所有的文件都准备好了。
   I'm supposed to go to the gym right now, but I don't feel like doing it.
   我现在应该要去健身房了，但是我不太想去。
2. let off：放过
   You really ought to fill in all the forms, but I suppose I could let you off.
   你真的应该填完所有这些表格，但是这次我就放过你好了。
   I really don't feel like reading this book now. Can I be let off?
   我现在真的不想看这本书。能放我一马么？
3. be a mess：一片混乱
   After the birthday, my house was a mess. 
   生日聚会过后，我的房子一片狼藉。
   This room is a mess that I couldn't find anything I need.
   这个房间乱得我需要的东西一样都找不到。
4. It should be you today. 今天该你了。
   Come on. I walked the dog yesterday. It should be you today. 
   得了吧。昨天我遛过狗了，今天该你去了。
   According to the meeting we had last week, it should be you to do the presentation today.
   依照上周开会所说的，今天该你演讲了。
5. It's your turn to do the chores tonight. 今晚该你做家务了。
   I remember it's your turn to do the chores tonight, isn't it? 
   我记得今晚该你做家务了，不是吗？
   - I want to go for some drinks with my friends tonight. 今晚我想和朋友出去喝几杯。
   - It's your turn to do the chores tonight, though. 但是今晚该你做家务了啊。
6. How silly of me! 我真傻！
   How silly of me! I was looking for my keys for a long time, but they were in my pocket after all.
   我真傻！我找钥匙找了好久，但其实它们一直就在我的兜里。
   I thought the deadline is tomorrow, but I just realized actually it's today. How silly of me!
   我以为明天是最后期限，但刚发现其实是今天。我真傻！

除了It's your turn to ...，还可以说

• You will be doing ...
• It should be you to ...
• You will be the one to ...
• It should be your turn to ...

e.g.

• You will be washing the dishes today. 
• It should be you to do the laundry. 
• You'll be the one to fix the stairs.
• It should be your turn to cook.
